![]() So there's a woman who comes in every week and (I think) she's as rude & blunt as a tenderised Joan Rivers. Anyhow, it is clear that her taste in movies is quite different to mine. I know this because she will constantly say that she only asks what I think of certain movies so she can avoid the ones I like. For a while I would argue that if she ignores ALL of the movies I like then how does she know if she's missing some great films? Anyhow... now its gotten to the point that I am so sick of her going on and on about how much my taste sucks that I just lie and tell her that various movies are crap (but I actually love em) and she returns them saying things like "you hated this? it was great!". I had to laugh because a few moments ago she came in with the movie Big Stan and said "its a good thing I'm not homophobic" and she went on a tyrade about how much "poofy" content there was and that there's no way she would expose her kids to this sort of crap. All the while my thoughts were stuck on a loop of her saying "Im not homophobic, Im not homophobic, Im not homophobic". Anyhow, that little incident certainly perked up my day. There's some characters out there, that's for sure..... to be polite. These are some of the films she's ignored because I liked them: - The Reader - Ghost Town - Gran Torino - Changeling - Burn After Reading - The Wrestler - The Boat That Rocked - Lakeview Terrace And these are some films that she thought were fantastic - Confessions of a Shopaholic - Surfer Dude - Bride Wars - Make It Happen - Nights In Rodanthe You get the picture....
