DEVIL

Devil is based on a concept written by M Night Shyamalan and is the first of the "Night Chronicles Trilogy" which strings each story together with the theme of 'the devil walks amongst us'. I went into Devil with no expectations whatsoever and came away from it thoroughly satisfied. I really liked the mood of the movie and it is paced perfectly. I'm sure lots of people will think too much about it and tear it to shreds but I'm not interested in that. This is a creepy little movie that is a genuinely effective and spooky thriller. I'm really looking forward to the next two instalments. The next one is titled 'Reincarnate' and deals with a grand jury. The third is still untitled but Shyamalan has indicated that it will also play out as a sequel to Unbreakable (my favourite of his films) so I am mega excited about that one.
